Cape Town Transportation – There is a metrorail, busses and travel by boat. There are lots of boat trips like out to Robben Island and in the city and surrounds there are many buses to get you to your destination. You can rent a car or take a taxi or limo. You’ll find it is relatively easy to move about the Cape Town area. When travelling always be safe, follow the street signs and if driving pay attention to parking and speed limit signs. Always have a map with you when sight seeing.

There is another great way to get around the city of Cape Town when you’re visiting. You can take a tour. Preferably a guided tour and that way you can just sit back and relax when you’re seeing the sights. See our tour section for some suggestions.
